This policy explains when we refund a paid subscription, how to ask for one, and how long it takes. It forms part of our Terms of Use.
Try before you pay. A substantial part of Crackmate is free and does not require any payment. We would much rather you used the free tier for a week and decided honestly than bought a plan you end up wanting refunded.
A Crackmate subscription grants access to paid features for a fixed period, at the price shown in the Platform at the time of purchase. Subscriptions do not renew automatically unless the Platform clearly says so at checkout and you agree to it — so in the ordinary case there is nothing to cancel, and you will not be charged again without choosing to be.
If this is your first paid subscription, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the date of payment. You do not need to give a reason.
Two limits, stated plainly so there is no surprise later:
After the cooling-off period, subscription fees are generally non-refundable, because access has been provided for the period purchased. We will still refund, in whole or in part, in these situations:

| Stage | Timeline |
|---|---|
| We acknowledge your request | Within 48 hours |
| We decide, and tell you the outcome | Within 5 business days of acknowledgement |
| Approved refund initiated | Within 7 business days of approval |
| Money reaches your account | Typically 5–10 business days after we initiate it, depending on your bank or card issuer |
Refunds are made to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different account, card, or person. Where a refund is approved, paid access ends when the refund is initiated.
Many of our users are under 18, and payment is often made by a parent or guardian. Where that is the case, the refund is made to the payment method used, and we will correspond with the person who made the payment. A parent or guardian may request a refund under this policy in respect of their child's account.
Write to our Grievance Officer at yourcrackmate@gmail.com and we will review the decision. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including your right to approach the appropriate consumer forum.
We may update this policy. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published at the time you paid, so a later change cannot take away a refund right you already had.
